Carly Renée

Growing up in Lennox Head, NSW, Carly developed a deep love for art by watching her mum create vivid abstract oil paintings from a young age. Surrounded by creativity and the beautiful stillness of the Northern Rivers she soon developed her own artistic voice. After pursing a career in film and television and working for Channel Nine for 3 years, Carly took her art full time at the age of 23 and has been exploring the nuances of drawing in black and white ever since. Starting with graphite she now predominately works with charcoal to create bold portraits in a large scale format
